Second week on lingopass

Today, I just had my second discussion on lingopass. I chose to talk about Dreams and Nightmares... We were three to discuss: EmilieH, Guiome and I. We didn't had a lot of time this morning, so we only discussed more or less 30 minutes.

I asked questions such as "Can you tell us what is your most striking dream?" or "Is there something you would like to dream about?", and we all shared experiences.

Emilie told us her scary dream with Ben Stiller chasing her and her sisters with a knife! Guillaume thought that his most striking dream was the one he had just after the "baccalauréat": he was not the first of the class... ( We all feel sorry for you guillaume)

We talked about several dreams more or less weird that we had. Guillaume would like to dream about the future, so he can forsee what's going to happen but Emilie said that it will be sad to know evertyhing, it would be like cheating. I don't know what to think... In one hand, there's a lot of things I would appreciate to know before it happens but in the other hand, there will be no more surprise in living my life.

We did all agree when Emilie said that it would be great to dream about funny things but so sad to wake up and to realize that nothing was real... just like my dream in which I can fly! You feel so depressed when you understand everything that just happens is fake, that you wish you could go back to sleep.

This discussion was easier than the first one. I think that we start to be comfortable with the site. It is still easier to attend a friend's discussion than to lead one. But leading forces us to react at every point of view and to ask more questions to boost the debate, so it's not so bad for our english.

discussed about our dreams and nightmares was funny. Even if the discussion time was shorter than usually, I think we discussed about the most important topics.

Yes, too bad we had no enough time to talk longer, I think your topic was a very interesting one. I agree with you, we start to be comfortable with the site

Cool topic ! I'm sure a lot of people would have something to share. I like to talk about that because it's quite unknown, we don't really know how our brain works and I find this really interesting.
I just have a question: i'm not sure we can say "to know everything by advance". I guess in English they say something else to say "en avance". We'll ask the teacher :)
