Tomorrow, I chose to talk about musicals ! There was only Guiome and I to discuss. We agreed on all my questions except maybe one. So this conversation didn\'t last for a long time.
About musicals you can see on a stage, we said we enjoyed going to such shows because they dance, they sing, they act and they tell us a story (that we usually already know but it\'s great to see a new version of it). It is a complete show, it\'s like you go to the theatre, a concert and a dance show at the same time. We agreed that artists in musicals need to be really talented, maybe more than other artist because they have to perform all those things every night without making a mistakes.
When I was young, I went to \"Roméo and Juliette\" and last year to \"Cléopatre, la dernière reine d\'égypte\". I can\'t really compare them but if I had to choose, I would say that I prefered the last one. It\'s maybe because I still remember it well. That\'s another thing I like about musicals, there\'s so many things to see at the same time on the stage that you don\'t know where to look! You feel that you could watch it again and again but it would be a different show each time. Guiome told me that he won a ticket to go to \"Cléopatre\" too. He really liked the show, because the songs and all the settings are great, but especially because of the main artist...
We wish we were to old french musicals like \"les 10 commandements\" or \"starmania\" because we still like to listen to the songs today...
We quickly talked about musicals on the cinema. Guiome liked \"Chicago\" a lot but he also said that the plot is never really interesting in a movie so it is often boring.
As Guiome said, you like only one musical every five or ten years. It is curious that we don't like more of them since we like the concept... Musicals really have a hard life!
We almost didn\'t have any microphone\'s issues! Just maybe once but it didn\'t bother us. I have to say that it changes everything. You didn\'t have to repeat every ten seconds or to ask if everybody understood what you just said...

We just finished to discuss about Ghost and supernatural! We? EmilieH, Guiome and I, of course! =D Fortunately, we know each other so we come to each other discussion. Otherwise, I'm not sure that I would have many people to discuss with at my discussion...
First, I obviously asked if they believed in ghosts and Emilie said (and I quote) "you have smoke to much grass". I deducted from it that she didn't believe in ghosts. Guillaume and I neither. I think that everything can be explained scientifically even if we don't know how.
What I liked in today's topic was the question "Is there an area where you live that is known to be haunted?" because it entailed a lot of little stories from each of us. Here are some of them:
In her ancient village, Emilie and her sisters were afraid of an abandoned house in the forest that had grass and other things growing in it! No one knew why nobody wanted to live in it... Guillaume was afraid to sleep in a room next to his father's because his sister told him that the statue in it was an evil witch... My sister and I were afraid to go to an old basement in my grand-parent's house because we thought that my grand-father was a murderer who threw human bodies in it! So maybe that there would be ghosts...We never asked him or dared to go down there... A lot of things are really scary when you are young!
We also gave our opinion on questions like "do you believe your ancestors are watching you?" or "If you were a ghost, who and where would you haunt?". Curiously, we chose a lot of ancient teachers... We did agree that believing our ancestors are watching us, keep them alive in a way.
But the story that made us all shiver, was told by Emilie when I ask to recall a strange event in our life: her godmother and her husband bought a house in a lost area with a little cottage near. In the basement of this cottage, there were a lot of old things but also a sort of jar with two human fingers in it... Whose fingers are these? Why did somebody kept them in this jar? We still don't know and we'll probably never...
Headset's issues (again) disturbed the debate but otherwise I didn't have any problems to lead the discussion!

Today, I just had my second discussion on lingopass. I chose to talk about Dreams and Nightmares... We were three to discuss: EmilieH, Guiome and I. We didn't had a lot of time this morning, so we only discussed more or less 30 minutes.
I asked questions such as "Can you tell us what is your most striking dream?" or "Is there something you would like to dream about?", and we all shared experiences.
Emilie told us her scary dream with Ben Stiller chasing her and her sisters with a knife! Guillaume thought that his most striking dream was the one he had just after the "baccalauréat": he was not the first of the class... ( We all feel sorry for you guillaume)
We talked about several dreams more or less weird that we had. Guillaume would like to dream about the future, so he can forsee what's going to happen but Emilie said that it will be sad to know evertyhing, it would be like cheating. I don't know what to think... In one hand, there's a lot of things I would appreciate to know before it happens but in the other hand, there will be no more surprise in living my life.
We did all agree when Emilie said that it would be great to dream about funny things but so sad to wake up and to realize that nothing was real... just like my dream in which I can fly! You feel so depressed when you understand everything that just happens is fake, that you wish you could go back to sleep.
This discussion was easier than the first one. I think that we start to be comfortable with the site. It is still easier to attend a friend's discussion than to lead one. But leading forces us to react at every point of view and to ask more questions to boost the debate, so it's not so bad for our english.

This morning, I had my first experience with lingopass as host.
I already participated to Guillaume's discussion about our favourite TV series on friday. I remember that it was very difficult to find the right chatroom and to start the exchange, so I have to say that I was a bit anxious for my discussion. Fortunately, everything went well. We were three (guiome, EmilieH and I) to discuss about Harry Potter's world during almost an hour.
We talked about the books and the movies. We all told how we've met Harry Potter. Guiome was the most fanatic and explained that he started to read the books when he was 9 or 10, before the movies released. Emilie and I read the books as well but most recently. Then, we chose our favourite books among the seven ones and our favourite characters. Emilie and I think that Ron is the best whereas Guiome liked Sirius until he saw the actor ... (Acording to me, he's perfect for the role) So we talked about the actors. I asked "Is there anything you would have made differently?" and we all agreed on the answer : we didn't like the last chapter of the seventh book because the "10 years later" thing prevents us from imaginating our own future for the characters. Other questions came up like "Would you like to go to Hogwarts?" and "In which of the four Houses?". Guiome created the surprise by choosing one of the two less known and explain why, whereas Emilie and I obviously chose Gryffindor.
The discussion ended when it was time for us to go to eat! We sometimes had problems with the sound of our headsets but it was better compare to Friday morning on Guiome's discussion. Since we knew each other very well, it was neither really difficult to communicate, nor intimidating. We sometimes runned out of vocabulary but we helped each other. Nevertheless, I think that it was not a bad thing to be with my friends to start and learn to know how the chat works.
Now, I'm waiting to talk with foreign people. Will it be as easy to understand each other?
