I went with Nessa, another teacher, to see St Nicholas church in Lesser Town. Today was a cold day. And, it was even colder inside the church.. My hands were shaking as I was holding the camera. As a result, many of the pictures were blurred and unable to be used here.

Below is a post card you receive upon admission to the church.

St Nicholas - Lesser Town

On the inside of the church, you are greeted by a magnificent altar.

Alter

At every turn, you see sculptures that were made with painstaking detail.

The sheer magnitude of the church was a little overwhelming. We were able to climb the stairs and reach the second floor, which provided a nice perspective of the church.

I would definitely recommend visiting Saint Nicholas church (in the summertime!)
